It's up to you
Body of work completed and presented in Fall of 2022, probably the most minimalistic of them all… Focused almost solely on color and its ability to tell a story. Saturated purple mixed with dark reds, black, and deep cobalt dancing together on a surface of vanilla-ish cotton canvas. With many of them gone to their forever homes around the world, few paintings are still available.

Midsummer Dance
The idea for this body of work came from one piece that I created earlier that year, which turned my focus towards pure colors and the relationship between them. Of Water & Earth
This series was evolving with me in time. All the pieces were started in the same moment in time but my personal story (which has direct impact on my work) sped up and turn rather unexpectedly. Life happened while I was working on my mellow 😉 collection. Life happened and I could no longer stay on the previously set course. I had to adjust and my work “adjusted” with me. I could restrain myself and create the series I know people would like…or I could create the series that I needed to create!This series has its gentle moments but like nature herself it has dramatic, rapid, expressive movements and events affecting the rest of the canvas. Nature’s high & lows, shallows & depts, lights & darkness… This series tries to show the emotions evoked by that dependencies and like nature it cannot be still.

frozen forest
Frozen Forest series was inspired by corona, I won’t lie to you, probably everything in my life was back then. Set of 12 original paintings on raw cotton canvas created with acrylic paints and various dry media like crayons, pencils and soft pastels. This series was strongly inspired but nature in all her Winter glory. Deep earthy tones complemented by white and rusty orange accents taking the viewer to a Frozen Forest in artist’s mind. Places of peace and freedom. Because there was no way to leave, I had to look around me…
