Through my acrylic paintings, I create a visual diary – a space for self-discovery and reflection. Each artwork offers an immersive experience, encouraging audiences to explore their own emotional landscapes and find solace in the captivating allure of color.
Expressive brushwork and harmonious pigments are the driving forces behind my art. Informed by the dynamic interplay of these elements, my creations ignite a sense of joy, curiosity, and contemplation. It is my sincere hope that my work resonates with viewers, evoking personal connections and illuminating the boundless power of self-expression.
about Kasia, an abstract painter
Kasia Kręcicka is a contemporary abstract painter based in Włocławek, Poland, celebrated for her exploration of color as a tool to convey emotion and perception. Deeply influenced by the scientific and psychological dimensions of color, her work investigates how hues and tonal contrasts shape the way we feel and connect with the world.
At the heart of her practice lies an intuitive approach, allowing her to respond instinctively to the canvas. This process embraces spontaneity and experimentation, often yielding unexpected textures and harmonious compositions. Kasia sees her art as a dialogue between control and release, using her instinctual mark-making to uncover deeper truths about emotion and memory.
Her work has been exhibited internationally, including in solo and group shows, and is held in private collections across Europe, North America, and Asia. She has participated in residencies such as the Residency in Tuscany Italy (2022) and Waco, Texas (2023).
By blending the intellectual and the instinctual, Kasia creates abstract works that resonate on a deeply personal level, inviting viewers to explore the profound connection between color and emotion.
