“I wanted to leave a mark, I was determined to leave my imprint filtered thru my Texas experience, I just didn’t know what that mark could be yet. I’ve started without knowing the path…
In this small body of work, I delve into the essence of mark making, pushing the boundaries of my artistic comfort zone to discover fresh ways of leaving a lasting mark. Drawing inspiration from the primal, evocative marks found in the ancient Lascaux caves, I explore the primal nature of expression and its enduring power
Through my work, I aim to translate not just images but mostly emotions, forging a connection between the ancient and the contemporary, leaving an indelible mark on the canvas and on my own history.
